Weekend winding down...
It was a treat just to lie in bed this morning and savor the birdsong. Of course there were the robins and cardinals belting their little lungs out, but it was neat to hear snatches from the late arrivals as well: the burbling of the house wren, the disjoint creative mimicry of the catbird. And I've had the treat of hearing the song of the white-throated sparrow on my walks to the bus stop a couple times last week. I just LOVE that sweet melancholy voice!
Happy as well that my Mother's Day gifts were a bit of a hit with my mom. =)
And my Vue render has passed the 50% mark at last! Looking like another 2.5 days at this rate, for five days in total render time. I am anticipating having my pc fully back, I really am!
We've got so many varieties of sparrows--there's five species pretty common around where I live. I saw some chipping sparrows today and they're so tiny and adorable. =)
Thanks! Well, this one is for a very short video clip; I think the longest a static picture ever took is around 3 days. Good practise for my patience, that's for certain!
Sounds like it was gorgeous! I'm glad that you got a chance to lie there and listen.
Things here have been a little lively. I've been noticing more magpies and rosellas around, as well as great flocks of shrieking corellas. Spotted a Willy Wagtail on my walks too.
My goodness, I had no idea those renders took so incredibly long! I imagine you'll be very glad indeed when it is done.
It has been a real treat; one of my favorite things about this time of year.
That's neat! I'm glad you're seeing more birds than when you first moved there.
Pictures rarely take more than two days, but I'm grateful I've been able to get some writing done regardless.
