The good stuff:
Pleased with the progress I've been making with the picture I started back on the 16th. (Putting in some blue flowers right now.) It's a birthday project of sorts, and I'm hoping to be nearly done around June 1st, so I'm pleased with how far I've come. It's very nice that high-quality test renders only take 2 hours!
Very glad I made myself pasta salad Sunday in preparation for today. Because it sure was nice to get something cool inside me after that half-mile (0.8 km) walk home from the bus stop in 95 F/35 C temps! (I am really hoping that's the hottest walk for the entire summer.) Also glad today's supposed to be the worst of it.
Despite a horrid night of too-hot sleep, and the wretched walk home, I was still able to make a nice start into chapter 4 of 'Delarun' section 4. Hurrah! Here's hoping I can manage another evening or two of progress before extremely short-staffed work conditions and hot nights slaughter my energy until the weekend...
Oh, wow. Double congratulations on the writing progress! I hope temperatures go down for you! That is insanely hot in the evenings! O_O
Here's to hoping that temperatures will remain low! And good luck with the birthday image you're making! ^-^
*hugs* Walking home in 35 C heat sounds wretched indeed. I really hope that it cools down soon. I wouldn't want you to have to do that again. At least you anticipated it with that pasta, though. Possibly the only thing worse than walking in that heat is cooking in it. Possibly.
