Hump-day good stuff:

Delighted with my 'Delarun' progress this week. Passed the 40,000 word mark Tuesday, and now I'm far enough with chapter 4 of section 4 I can take a break until Saturday (and figure out what happens in the rest of the chapter!)

Good news on the work front too. Nancy's husband had his heart surgery today (that they've been waiting on since his second stroke in March) and it went well, thank God!

Last and least, had pizza tonight with my first cream soda for the summer. Yum. =)

So... how fares the romance writing you've been having to do? ^-~

Well, chapter 4 where I'm at takes place 8 years after the 'romancy' bits of chapter 3, so it was nice to just jump ahead to when they've been married a while. ;)

Time (readers) will tell just how lame those bits in chapter 3 really are. ;P I did manage to get a kiss in there, heh.

So good to hear the surgery went well.

You are making such good progress on Delarun. When do you think it will
be done by?
Sounds like your weather will be cooling down some by next week. I know you can not wait.

Yes, very relieved about that. (Though not enjoying not having her help with Corey's work!)

Delarun as a whole? Maybe the end of 2011, if everything goes well. I still have sections 5, 2, and the epilogue to write, and 2 is the biggest.

Hopefully that doesn't get changed! Supposed to be pretty warm tomorrow and Saturday.
