Hurrah for a Friday! It's been a very hard, busy, and draining workweek, so I'm delighted to be approaching the end of it (without quitting my job or trying to throttle anyone).
Work's been killing me and the error e-mails have gone from bad to worse, so I'm glad to have a 'slight' reprieve from now until the middle of the month, though I expect I'll still be insanely busy. But at least a brief reprieve from the most horrible stuff, which I desperately need before I quit and go work for McDonald's.
The bright side of a week of horridly warm March temps is that we have been enshrouded by heavy fog the past few mornings. I love fog!
Shelley brought in some blueberry muffin bread on Thursday--nice to have such a lovely treat!
I also really enjoyed the 'Cauliflower Romanesca Basilic' frozen veggie mix I impulsively grabbed at Trader Joe's. Delicious!
Blessed that after weeks of the neighbors wrecking my sleep with their stomping out at 4:40 am, and some stray cat caterwauling outside Arun's window at 3:01 and 5:04 am on Monday morning, I've actually had 4 consecutive nights of uninterrupted sleep. What a blessing!
Best of all, despite my weeknights now being horribly short due to the Logan healing scripture prayer vigil I start at 7:30, I was still able to get some desperately-needed reading and relaxing done Wednesday evening, and a bit of progress writing 'Last Orphan' on Thursday evening. And now for a weekend!
