Lots of bright spots in the workweek:
I love the internet! This particular 'gush' brought on by finding the wonderful Ruby-throated hummingbird map which will help me know when to put out my feeder in advance of their reaching my stumping grounds. What a delightful resource!
On Tuesday I heard my first robin chirping (too dark in the mornings again thanks to Daylight Savings) and on Thursday morning I heard one singing.
Had to drive into work Wednesday because it was the monthly publish day (and didn't get to leave until after 7 pm) but that meant I had a wonderful view of a simple sunrise that seemed like a half-rainbow of red, orange, and gold as I walked along the Robert Street Bridge over the Mississippi.
On Wednesday I had the treat of TWO free meals! Lunch was black bean and veggie enchiladas from the company cafeteria thanks to my yearly free lunch coupon for filling out the health assessment. Then for dinner some delicious pizza from Black Sheep Coal Fired Pizza, thanks to my boss treating us for staying late. Yum--and I even got leftovers to enjoy this weekend!
Best of all, today is Payday Friday! I didn't get near as much editing done in the evenings as I'd hoped this week, so I'm very much anticipating a weekend.
