Hurrah for a payday Friday!
It has been wonderful to have more normal fall temperatures this week. Great for sleeping! I've also appreciated getting back to cooking on Sunday or Monday so that I have leftovers during the workweek--too hot to do that in the summertime.
A treat to get out for lunch twice this week. The first time was on Tuesday, a get-together with Bill and Dawn. Got to see photos of Bill's daughter who is 7 months old already!
The second outing was on Friday--the 6th floor members of my apartment all got out to celebrate my teammate Ildephonse's 20th service anniversary. I had a portabella philly with fries and it was a great time.
I really needed a change of pace after how awful a month it has been and how depressed/drained I've gotten, so I chucked my schedule out the window and spent the last week working on some "therapy art" - another autumn picture with Geren and his dogs, since it's been two years since the last one. And soon I'll get to enjoy the finished result!
It would be nice to have it cooler, but it would be even more nice to have no more hurricanes make landfall!
I added a not-touched-up version over at my Cornucopia portfolio, but this reminds me that I'd meant to bring you some of my wallpaper images on the Oregon trip after you mentioned it when we were in Florida. And of course I forgot. I will email you some this afternoon.
