This morning I'm happy for:

The fact that my bruise is finally fading! My boss noticed it a couple days ago and said as much too. It's actually hurting more than it did last week, but it's well and truly on the mend.

The amusement of not sticking to plans. So I got started writing another story last night, but...it's wasn't 'The Great Wave,' it was 'The Secrets of Fynydov.' I'm having fun laughing at myself over that, but I'm also happy I'm making progress on something!

     Payday Friday! Hooray!

So glad to hear your bruises are fading away.
More writing yippee! 'The Secrets of Fynydov' sounds very intriguing. Hope you
make good progress.

Finally! It will be nice not having my arm distracting me, visually or otherwise.

Thanks! Hopefully I'll get some more done this weekend, around shopping and the Renaissance Festival.

Sometimes you just have to write what brings you joy. I admit to being curious. I haven't encountered Fynydov much, but by all accounts he's a bit of a character. By the way, his doormat on your icon always cracks me up.

Certainly good news that the bruise is disappearing.

Enjoy your weekend!

Unfortunately, it's far more about the nasty skeletons in his closet than it is about him. At this point I've given up trying to write stories about him directly, because whenever I land on something promising, he immediately starts changing the details to make himself look better. =P I could never be his 'biographer'!

His doormat makes me cringe and want to throw something. ;)

It's looking more like an ordinary fading bruise day by day, yay!

You do too!
