Recent delights:

First day of the blood drive at work today. Went down to give, and I passed with flying colors, so to speak. Now that I'm no longer trashing my health with book 4 writing, my hemoglobin was excellent after a week of extra iron pills. That is a relief--the apheresis office called me last week and I declined as I already had today scheduled, but I'll feel more optimistic about my chances when they call me again in February.

I brought a book along to read this time--which meant I had no waiting at all. I should do that more often!

They were doing some filming for the All-Company Meeting video while I was down there donating, so I'm very glad I wasn't picked to be interviewed, though I'll have to see if I got caught in the background. Also, the movie they had on today was Wall-E, which was a delight.

Having fun working away on an animated avatar for an upcoming project I'll post about soon. Made good progress tonight; hopefully the last missing image will spark in my imagination by the weekend.

Also delighted that I could pick up a book at the library and got three in the mail today. Those yummies should keep me out of trouble for well over a week!

Sounds like it was quite a good day!

All the stress really does wreck your health, doesn't it? Uni really held me back from donating as much as I would have liked last year.

This upcoming project sounds intriguing. I shall look forward to hearing more about it.

Books are awesome. No two ways about it :D

It was! =)

Hopefully there won't be need for much stress for me the rest of this year, at least not before the autumn. And hopefully you can take care of whatever's ailing you too. *hugs*

I agree 100%! =)
