Celebrating my 16th anniversary--I dug out my high school planner for my senior year of high school and looked over events around the time I drew that first t'DoL picture. Just trying to cast my mind over that immense (to me) gulf of time, and how there's so little I remember of back then. Didn't realize I presented my first sonnet in English class around that very time.
Thinking about that milestone and that I finally got 'What was I thinking?!' done at last (in a matter of speaking)--that gave me ideas not only for what essay to write for my 17th anniversary, but the 18th as well! I'm excited, and pleased that I also have plenty of time to prepare. To do the 17th anniversary essay topic justice means I should reread every personal journal entry I've made from when I started writing a journal in August of 1998. So I'm glad I have months of time to spare and prepare!
Happy that both book 4's I mailed last Thursday arrived safely on Wednesday! (Even though one was sent media mail and the other wasn't!)
Delighted that Christina not only was so sweet as to drop by and read my 'What was I Thinking?!' essay, but she avoided the book 4 spoilers and actually stayed awake (or didn't tell me otherwise ;).
Today's treat was lunch with Christi, and she's started in on book 4, though she didn't go far because she wanted to ask me about the prologue and make sure she wasn't missing something huge. It was a pleasant surprise--I didn't think she'd have the time to start so quickly. =D
Tomorrow is Friday, hurrah!
