A cool night last night and no nightmare--hurrah for good sleep!
Faster than expected progress in fixing various flaws with t'DoL's wings in Poser. I was afraid it would take hours to sort out, but some work the last two mornings and Tuesday evening straightened almost everything out.
It has been a very *interesting* workweek, and this morning was the crown of it. Got in to be pounced upon by my coworkers, who were unable to do anything. It was so bad we had no e-mail, no internet, no printing, nothing. Thankfully most of it was fixed before 8 am, though I did get to put my emergency back-up plan in place for a little--been two years since I last had to do that. I'm glad things came back, because if not, 'my' fiche scanners might have been the only people in the company still being productive while everyone else sat around helplessly--grounds for them lynching me, yes? ;)
Happy to learn I'd already done the hard part of making a lunar calendar for 'The Great Wave' way back last August. Certainly helped me get moving faster now!
Since LJ's Scrapbook won't let me upload videos, I don't like the quality when I host them on my Photobucket account, and I have a strong dislike of YouTube, I went ahead and started a Vimeo account today. Uploaded my Chibi Hyarmi Movie as a trial, hopefully it won't scar any passing stranger too badly!
I remember the movie. But the version up on Vimeo goes too fast for me to read!
It sounds like things have been rather eventful your way. I'm definitely glad to hear that the nightmares are gone for the time being. Hopefully they stay that way and that things at work behave themselves.
Thanks for looking! I'm sorry it didn't behave for you, since it played fine on my end. With new stuff in the future I intend to follow their recommendations about codex, compression, etc, so hopefully that won't happen again!
Very eventful at work--I feel bad for the techie folk who are having the month from hell. =( At least my area can do most of its work, though most of the people we work for can't even see it now!
Hmm... The version on Vimeo doesn't give me any trouble. I've not seen that movie in ages, although Scrapbook should allow videos. I've uploaded some way back, after all. How odd.
Glad to hear things continue to go well! *squees over side/background image some more*
Scrapbook should but I've never succeeded. I thought it was just me being on dial-up and too slow in the past, but when I tried last weekend, the page said it was uploading forever and stuck that way just as in the past. =P
I'm glad it's behaving for you! Thanks for looking! (I get glomping urges with that little fuzzy cutie ;)
A double-hurray for a good night's sleep! Yay!!
And I think that a lack of internet could make just about anyone join a lynching mob... Be careful!! ;)
I've been reading through my reader so haven't come to the actual site for a whie... It looks GREAT!!
Happy Thursday, dear sister-in-law!
Yes, it's nice to have it cool again!
It wasn't so much the internet as me and Corey just sitting around doing nothing while they had to work! ;)
Thanks! I'm glad you dropped by and saw it.
Happy Thursday to you too! (typed 'Hoppy' at first, ahem.)
