Sorry in advance for this one being so long; boy do I have a lot to burble about!
First off, Friday morning at work. Dawn asks Corey if he'd seen tv show such-and-such Thursday night, and he says, no, but maybe I had (Corey almost never watches tv). So Dawn leans up a little to see over the cubicle wall between me and Corey and I lean up a little to see her, and she asks me if I'd seen that tv show Thursday evening. What do I do? I just stare at her. Reason being, Corey has pulled this cute little line THREE TIMES in the last month, and then Dawn asks me, and I tell her: "Dawn, I don't watch television." I don't want to know how many times I've told her that in the last ELEVEN YEARS. ;D So, this being incident number four, I just stared at her this time, rather disbelieving that she'd fallen for it again. Then I finally said "Daaaaaawwwwwnn." And she finally realized she'd fallen for it. She's almost as bad as Charlie Brown with Lucy and the football! I sure hope Corey doesn't pull that off again before April rolls around!
I actually had a GOOD dream Saturday morning! What a treat after all the nightmares of late. It was over-the-top quite silly happiness. I was at work (normally I don't like this, as I don't get paid for working in my dreams ;) And Nancy and Kathy were having a race to see who could finish reading my fourth book first and going on about how much they were enjoying it. Dawn was reading it too, but she's slow, I knew she wouldn't beat them. And my boss was gushing about how wonderful the book was to someone who came to the area who used to work with us. Quite amusing when I woke up, especially as Nancy really doesn't like fantasy. =)
Got myself a little worked up Friday when I made a list of all the art projects I wanted to have done by June--14 in total. So I'm happy that I was able to get two of them done today: the Portal Page illustration for 'The Great Wave' (way in advance) and a new avatar for this journal. Better yet, I was able to make larger wallpaper images from both projects. Better than that--it reminded me that doing art of t'DoL (assuming whatever I'm working with is halfway realistic) is my very favoristist thing in allllll the world. Today was a mucho happy day. ;D
Last but not least, got unstuck (at least for now) on 'Defender,' and got some more written. I think that pesky story is going to fight me right down to the finish line. *dons boxing gloves*
Isn't having lots to burble about a good thing then? If they're happy things like this, I mean.
I'm glad to hear that you've been making so much progress and have been having good dreams for a change!
*shakes head bemused at the co-workers* You're so lucky to live in such an environment, you are. ^-^
I must say that t'DoL is looking distinctly ruffled there. It's rather fetching :D
Some good chuckles on that list there. Dawn sounds like a sweetheart, though perhaps one with a short memory.
Sounds like there's plenty to keep you busy on the art front.
Yes, someday I have to allot 10 or so hours into making him some 'real' hair, but that Poser wig isn't too bad. ;)
Dawn's memory is very fun, because 'recent' events for her often happened 10-15 years ago!
There certainly is!
