There should have been somebody videotaping Corey and I on Tuesday afternoon, because it really was a stitch. Corey's been going through the process of upgrading to a new computer, and that afternoon was when we were supposed to wrap up the last piddling details. Only it didn't work that way! Nearly every attempt to take shortcuts and save time blew up in our faces. It turned into such a comedy of errors I just have to laugh thinking about it. Hopefully, everything will be working on Wednesday morning, but it was good to have a bit of amusement at my own expense!
A blessing to have, not only one cloudy day cooler than forecasted, but two! I am really appreciating this final reprieve before the summer hammer falls. So are my new flowers!
Tuesday was the day I got the inexpensive little converter piece that allowed me to hook up the computer speaker set my wonderful brother and sister-in-law gave me for my birthday some summers back to my new tv. Boy, does it sound wonderful now! I feel digustingly pampered. ;)
And one of the first things I got to enjoy with my new audio set-up was a documentary-style piece of images from the Hubble space telescope. I turned off the commentary and just listened to the music with subtitles of what I was looking at, and it completely blew me away. (And the time-lapse of Uranus with a bucketful of moons circling around it had me squealing--I so love moons, the more the merrier!) What a blessing!
