Big day today!

Firstly, today is the day that the average high temperatures in Minnesota begin to DROP. YEEHAW!!! So I had to once again drag out the countdown to the equinox. God willing, writing season will start before it hits zero! =D

And then, I found out today that my brother and sister-in-law finished reading book 4 on Sunday night. YAY! They also had a list of embarrassing typos, and some great questions. Thanks for reading, you two--and not lynching me! (And I'm delighted somebody's enjoying the Shado!)

My goodness, already? The time seems to have flown by. I hope that it has for you as well.

As a side note, I was amused to remember earlier this year that your birthday isn't actually on the winter equinox in your part of the world. I'd always thought it highly appropriate.

It feels like 'already' to me too--and as it's been such a cool July, it feels more like limbo than summer!

I was quite put out as a kid that I missed the solstice by one day like that. ;) Though my friend Christi's second son hit it square on the mark when he was born this year. Will be easy to remember his birthday!

Ugh, it's hit something close to a record high in Vancouver, so yes, I am quite jealous of you! We are supposed to get close to forty degrees this week.

Here's to a good (coming) writing season for you, then!

Close to forty--in Vancouver!! Yuck! I hope it doesn't get as hot as they're forecasting.

Thanks! I'm quite looking forward to it. =D

The list of typos was very small for such a piece of writing! Nothing to describe as "embarrassing" at all!

Re: =)
(Assuming this is Christina...)

Yeah, if this were work, I'd be spinning it as a 99.995% accuracy ratio, and that wouldn't be bad at all!

But this isn't work, and I'm an incorrigable perfectionist, and I don't want anything distracting from the story--certainly not brainless typos! =) (And I know one reader is bound to not spot ALL of them!)
