Another weekend spent:
It's been a delight how lush and floriferous my planter is in the middle of September. I got a photo of it this weekend and was amused to compare that to how it looked when I last posted about it in July.
I finished the short story 'Heritage' this evening! I'm glad it's fairly short, and I'm glad to have it done, as it leaves me wanting to throw things and hit people (characters), ahem. Delighted to scratch something off my What's cooking page, as well!
And this month's progress has put me within 3,000 words of hitting the million-word mark. Getting close, eeeeee!
I'm really happy with how it worked--I'll definitely be growing evuluvolus in that spot again, though the million bells/calibrachoa wouldn't fare so well in an 'ordinary' summer. =)
I've been looking forward to that milestone all year! And I've already started 'celebrating,' at least in the money-squandering sense, and in working on a 'million words' picture this month, though I won't let myself finish it until I hit that mark. I'm sure I'll think of more ways to enjoy myself!
