Thursday evening was blessed by a lovely note in the mail from my aunt, who recently finished rereading the first Geren book and has started in on Hope's Passage. And she thinks I'M good with words--her note was sheer poetry and way too flattering to copy here. What a blessing!
The other blessing was finally having enough energy for more book 5 writing Thursday evening, and getting myself past the 10,000 word mark. I always feel like I'm getting somewhere once I'm in 5 digits (never mind my destination is 6 digits ;). And that was a good excuse for some mozzarella sticks and spicy cider to celebrate. Yum!
This week has been exhausting, but I have been blessed by beauty every time I look at the Glacier National Park webcams. Snow has come to the mountains, and just the sight of it makes my veins and nerves shimmer with the excitement and energy of that cold, gorgeous purity. Oh man I can't wait for winter--so I'm trying to keep my excitement under control--BUT THERE'S SNOW IN THE FORECAST FOR SATURDAY!! EEEEEEEEEEEEE!! (Yes, I know it won't stick, but just to SEE it will be like coming home to paradise. Come, winter!!)
