Finally got the color laser printer working at work, so I could catch up on a backlog of print requests for various people before I got lynched. And hopefully the repairman will be back early next week to fix it for good. Whew, is that a load off my chest!
Friday was a delicious delight not only because it was payday, but because we celebrated my boss's 20th service anniversary. And there were so many delicious brownies and of course I had to try one of each kind... =D
Did my food shopping Friday evening and was blessed to run into the Towners, of all people! Both of them, in different aisles. It was fun to do a little catching up, and get a 'formal' invitation for Thanksgiving dinner.
And it's hard to believe my eyes as it isn't even halfway through October yet--BUT THERE WAS SNOW OVERNIGHT!! Just a bit sticking on the grass and the cars and the leaves of the lilacs, but WOW! That cold, lovely light of winter, below 30 outside (-2 C) and the heat coming on inside (nice of the landlord as it isn't required by law until the 15th and my poor coworker Kathy is freezing in her apartment). Anyway, that made for the most lovely breakfast I've had in many months. Ah, what a treat to have winter pay a visit in October!!
