I'm grateful that:
It's worked having my cats 'at large' in my apartment the last two workdays (sans my room of course). I'd noticed lately that poor cold Shado didn't seem to be interested in trying to claw a hole into the middle of my futon mattress anymore, which was what had started my having to shut them up in the first place, and attach bells to the blanket on it so I can hear any attempt, etc. (Since Shado shut up away from Arun too long will scream in loneliness, that doesn't work.) So I warm up the heading pad and leave that tucked in a folded blanket on my bed, and so far, so good!
Also glad to have survived the first two workdays of this week--two down and two to go, and here's hoping Friday can't be nearly as crazy and exhausting!
It's been years, so maybe Shado has completely forgotten about trying. The only thing he climbs inside now is that fleece thing you gave me for them. He still does that when he's shut in the cat room.
It's going. Glad for lunch break, and that Nancy's back from being out sick, though the poor thing has to cook for 16 people tomorrow!
