Hear my first robin singing this morning, as I was lying in bed. Yesterday, outside the video store, I heard two red-winged blackbirds singing for the first time this year. Friday walking home from the bus, the first song of a house finch. Spring is cascading in like a torrent. I rented out three movies yesterday--two I'd seen before and one new one. 'Sky High' was silly b-grade fun once again, but lacks much rewatching charm. 'Unbreakable,' on the other hand, is a keeper...so I'll be getting my own copy soon.
