My flight from Denver to Sacramento was just as smooth and pleasant as the first one (and there were free chocolate-chip cookies!).
Got to enjoy a delicious blueberry pannekoeken my mom made for dinner.
Followed that up by watching 'Night Crossing' which got quite intense--some East Germans trying to escape into the west in the late 1970's using a hot air balloon (based on a true story). Quite a neat movie.
Slept in wonderfully late, and then my mom and I took her German Shepherd Abby to William Pond Recreation Area (since I feel bad we can't take her on our road trip, have to spoil her beforehand!). It was a beautiful morning for a walk by the pond, and Abby had a blast fetching her tennis ball from the water.
