A nice weekend:
I have been very much enjoying the weather of late--a streak of days with end-of-September sorts of temperatures, rather than beginning. Getting to sleep on my futon, seeing blackbirds swarming for migration, hearing a string of geese honking overhead--just a delicious treat! And a comfort that this September won't be as awful weather-wise as the last one.
Nice to get all my 650ish trip photos labeled at last, and done most of uploading I'd planned to do. And have milk and especially orange juice in my fridge again!
Pleased to also get started on a short story ('In the Pit,' a Hened-pov book 4-related piece) even if I didn't get as far as planned this evening because my wonderful aunt called one minute after I started writing--the timing was just plain hilarious. Feels great to kick off the autumn writing season already! =D
