Looking forward to Friday!
Wednesday brought the United Way fundraiser my department participates in. I was happy I could get down there right away for Sarin's fantastic egg rolls. This year she made 80, and they sold out in less than 20 minutes. Also happy they had more vegetarian options for the 'Crocktoberfest' crock pot/chili choices, so I tried out some vegetarian chili this year.
A treat walking home from the bus stop on Wednesday as well--saw three male migrating bluebirds right around my mailbox!
It feels like it's been taking me forever, so I'm glad I'm finally down to the last stages in remaking t'DoL's clothes in Poser. So much waiting on getting through that finish line.
Happy to get plane tickets today for visiting my family over Christmas. I suppose it will be December before I know it... ;)
I got two of them, since they were selling 2 for $5. The chili wasn't bad at all--lots of different beans and veggies in there. I picked it because it was marked as mild, while the other non-meat chili was marked moderate. (The mail center supervisor brought in his extremly hot meat chili, and Jodi told me her mouth was still numb an hour later!)
Yes, I'm really looking forward to November, and then the time will be short indeed!
