Back home, and grateful for:
A less disconcerting shower this morning than the one on Sunday. Never realized just how much head movement was involved with a shower before getting this vertigo!
The fun of getting my carry-on bag inspected by TSA: the lady told me she would confiscate my peanut brittle and eat it herself, then she actually did run a test on the guava paste my mom gave me from my aunt, just in case it was explosives or something! That was amusing.
The wry amusement of having my appetite finally make an appearance six days almost to the hour after I last lost it--of course in the airport waiting area, and not at my parents' home. Thank God for that peanut brittle! =)
Smooth takeoff from Sacramento, no trouble with my ears or stomach, thankfully, and a beautiful view of bluest blue Lake Tahoe ringed by snowy mountains as the plane left California behind. Also got to watch a lovely sunset from above, with the dramatic line of dusk rising in the east as nightfall came. Joe gave me a ride home, and was very kind in taking care of the cats for me and getting ice off my car, etc.
And tomorrow I see my doctor!
