Thanks in part to all the government workers getting Monday off, I actually had the bus entirely to myself going home that day--quite funny! Also, this was the first day I got to get back into a reading a book and not just magazines on the bus. Finally!
It got pretty warm Monday (over 20 F/-6 C, warm for January, anyway) so I took a screwdriver and a hammer and chiseled off the big hunks of ice that had fallen and melted onto my sidewalk while I was gone. It will be nice not floundering over them in the dark each morning!
Some nice progress with 'Tilnon' in the evening, so I might actually get it finished by the end of the week. Happy that it's moving along at present.
Best of all, I had a surprise Sunday in the form of Melody Pena, the creator of the Windstone Editions sculptures and a fabulous artist, e-mailing me because she liked the PoadsTM photo I used as my signature over at the Windstone Forum, and wanted permission to use it in her Elfwood gallery! And early Tuesday morning, it went up! Just such an honor to help out, even in such a small way. =)
