Tuesday was a good day:
Started off with some entertainment at work in the form of a water main break between the two buildings that left a huge hole in the street and frozen mud everywhere (and gawkers in the skyway taking photos with their cellphones). And signs on bathroom doors and mass e-mails with headers in all caps: DO NOT DRINK 401 WATER! So I got exercise going over to the 400 building to the 5th floor where our department used to be to get water from a safe faucet, since there's no way I'm wasting money on it. See how long it takes to fix in the middle of January.
My best day with my vertigo since it all started. Didn't feel much of anything throughout the workday until 3:15, which was a blessing.
And in the evening, I finished writing 'The Trial of Tilnon!' Hurrah! Feels good to get something done in 2011, despite all the issues of late. And after that, I let myself devour the piece of Turkish Delight I bought on my trip in Carmel, which has been tempting me since I got home. YUM! Wish I'd bought more, but considering how I felt that day, I'm just glad I bought it, period!
