A nice weekend, if too short!
Got out to Afton State park this morning, though unfortunately it clouded up before I walked the 4 miles to my favorite corner of the park. But I did get some photos to add to my autumn collection and there was actually more color in some places than I expected. And the smells! It rained a little overnight, so the autumn scents were stronger than normal and just delicious.
Walked a total of 8.3 miles (13 km) on quite hilly terrain, so I more than earned my splurge for dinner of the super-yummy, super-fattening Spinach and Cheese Filo Pie I bought at Trader Joe's. Can't wait to have the second half tomorrow!
Also very happy to have made good progress with 'Tutelage' writing this weekend, and to pass the 15k mark as well. Fifteen scenes written and five to go is what it's looking like, so I'm hoping to reach the finish line this week!
And with that, I am signing off. The time of year I utterly hate is fast approaching, so time for my annual temper-sparing internet fast. Back sometime in the wonderful month of November!
