Highlights during my internet fast:

Tuesday, October 25 brought the long-awaited 2nd United Way fundraiser pancake breakfast. Blueberry Pancakes NOM NOM NOM! Just wished Shelley had been there to enjoy it with me, as she'd been looking forward to it as well.

Wednesday the 26th work thankfully let up enough that I could take a longer lunch and walk over to United Hospital to visit Shelley. Timing was great, as she was just getting discharged after being there since Friday and in a coma for a couple days. So I'm happy I was able to get most everyone in my area to sign a card and bring it to her myself before she headed back home.

On Friday I used my $1 off coupon on mozzerella sticks at Arby's to celebrate my great progress with 'Tutelage.' Wish I could've introduced them to Copper, though he'd probably snitch them all and leave me with fake illusion-mozzerella sticks to eat. ;)

Saturday was the day I finished the Copper-novella, 'The Last Tutelage,' though at 22,900 words it's not as long as my other novellas. Still, nice to have three written!

Sunday was emotional recoup day after Saturday, and also plunged into my t'DoL-birthday project which will probably devour my life for the next couple weeks...

On Tuesday, November 1, Dawn and I went out for lunch at Chipotle; for me it was a treat to celebrate finishing 'Tutelage.' And it sure hit the spot wonderfully!

Yes, I'm delighted the pancake breakast was enough of a hit that they did it again--and this time they were more organized, so no wait in line.

Thank you, it feels great!
