It's nice to have 1-hour lunch breaks during the Kofax training, and today I don't have to spend it making calls regarding my move. So here I am!
Travel was great aside from middle seats due to getting tickets at such short notice. No turbulence, delays, or misplaced luggage.
Got to watch sunset over the ocean twice already: on Sunday at Crystal Cove State Beach just north of Laguna Beach, and then on Tuesday from the Huntington Beach Pier.
I am really loving the breakfasts at the hotel we're staying at. On Monday I had a Belgian waffle, granola, donuts, and decided the only thing the place was lacking was hash browns/potatoes...and then on Tuesday they had them! Got to enjoy some oatmeal too this morning. The selection is simply fabulous.
Training is going well and I'm very grateful for the 6+ hours of training I had with my boss last week, or I'd probably be feeling overwhelmed about now. Halfway through already!
On Tuesday we drove to Huntington Beach for one of their weekly Surf City Nights. I really enjoyed it. All sorts of vendors, street musicians, wonderful California Farmer's Market food variety and some dinner carts too (and games for the kids). A nice little foretaste of the Minnesota State Fair!
