Moving day was great.
The Towners are a blessing beyond measure. Five of them showed up to help me move Tuesday, though 5-year-old Scarlet didn't help out much beyond being 'explorer.' ;)
All the remaining stuff got hauled over to the new place in one trip, between Aaron's huge trailer, the two minivans, and my car.
It was great to have five of us pray together and say blessings over the new place. And give a tour in the flesh.
Afterward, we had a late lunch at a place called Jake's City Grille (which none of us had been too before). A treat to sit outside with a beautiful fountain nearby. The food wasn't bad either, and after hauling the furniture around, we went through a LOT of strawberry or raspberry lemonade!
And my first bus ride in on the new route this morning was a treat as well. No stops between where I got on and the city, and the bus was really nice inside. It will also be nice not having to stand out in the hot sun when I go home, either!
