Goodies at work Tuesday! Just for the part of my department on my floor, and there were wonderful things like bagels and even Sarin's peerless egg rolls. Much happy munching throughout the day.
I'm glad my 'emergency back-up plan' for bad weather is working. I'd thought I'd only use it for ice storms or the middle of a blizzard, but the huge snowfall of Sunday is so deep that it would take an extra 20 minutes+ to walk to the bus stop and it's much higher than my highest boots, so my feet would freeze if I tried. So instead I get on the Minneapolis bus that goes down the adjacent street, then just have to stand around and wait 10-15 minutes at the park and ride until the St Paul buses come. Saves walking or taking my car out in this mess!
I'm grateful that for various reasons I've left work at 5:30 rather than 6:00 these last two days, as the roads/traffic/alternate routes have been so bad I've only been getting home around 7:00 pm anyway!
My awesome boss scored my department free tickets for the Trans-Siberian Orchestra Christmas concert at the Xcel Energy center on December 29. I'm excited!!
