Christmastime delights:

There was no busing Christmas Eve for my half day of work, so I drove to the cheapie lot...and the drive was a treat, as was the walk through the city afterward, because of the gentle glimmering snowfall--even big enough to count as jumbo snow a time or two.

So wonderful, with my day and a half off work for Christmas, so make tons of progress on my art projects and finish both versions, to just take it easy and not be watching the clock, just bundled up listening to Christmas music and working on art, or reading bits of my stories. Looking forward to getting it up at renewer_rising as I've so long anticipated.

On Christmas Eve evening I watched The Nativity Story with pizza and popcorn, and it was wonderful. I think I cherish that movie more every year.

Christmas Day itself was restful, with the morning spent on art and on the phone with my parents, opening delightful gifts, and then the afternoon at the Towners for a huge feast, followed by traditional Jesus' Birthday Cake later on. Just delightful.

A belated Merry Christmas to anyone reading this! I hope it was wonderful.
