Quick follow-up post for the big implementation day.
I'm very grateful to God that overall things have gone quite well. My boss is quite proud and delighted (since, er, it doesn't generally happen so smoothly). There are, of course, niggling issues that will keep us working late trying to fix them, but nothing huge or critical, thank God!
Had to have treats to celebrate the big event of course, so I stopped at Panera at 6 am sharp and got bagels, muffins and pastries, and my boss's boss arranged a huge tray of cookies! That made the morning sweet.
Falling behind with all sorts of stuff at home since I've been starting work before 7 each morning and staying until nearly 6, but it feels so good to be near the end of the long 'race' at last.
Hurrah for warmer weather that actually seems like March instead of January, and no storms!
Yes, indeed, and thanks so much for your prayers! Another blessing yesterday, that the issue Annuities was getting worked up about ended up being really easy to find and correct (didn't involve script at all). Hopefully I can do a bit of testing today and get those fixes rolled out soon.
I really can't wait. It will be nice when I can start work at 7:30 again. And maybe even leave at 5. =)
They sure disappeared fast, and I found out Sarah is a Panera fan, so I'll definitely have to do it again sometime.
