So glad that it's Thursday and there's a three-day weekend ahead.
Monday was ghastly, as my boss and I broke something on the same day as two projects were due to be published. I didn't get out of work until 8 pm after getting most of the mess fixed up. Then Tuesday was ghastly in a difference sense, due to some other people making a change without telling us which made our system go rather haywire that day with all sorts of crazy things happening--on top of the continuing fallout from Monday.
So I'm grateful that on Wednesday things were stable again. I'm glad the changes to the Annuity project went through without a hitch after all the glitches during testing.
I'm very glad the Towners were able to pick me up at 8 pm on Monday night and give me a ride home! It might have been a very late night otherwise.
Also delighted that I was able to get a fix crammed through after the service shut down Wednesday, and still catch the 5:00 bus. Best of all, that I got some writing done Wednesday night. The workweek can't count as utterly awful so long as I make progress on something that matters! =)
And there's actually NO RAIN in the forecast for today and tomorrow! Hopefully my poor garden can start drying out before the plants all drown!
So sorry to hear about your rough week at work. What a huge blessing
the Towners are!
Enjoy the two dry days. I hope you can get out on Saturday. I hope your plants recover and you get some dry weather.
Remember what it was like at your old place with all this rain. I am sure you do not miss the bailing.
Have an enjoyable Memorial Day weekend. Are you going to see the new
Yes, indeed they are! A blessing in timing too, as they've been out of town the rest of the week.
I remember. Last weekend would not have been any fun at all in the old place. Very glad to be out of there.
Right now I'm planning to see it tomorrow, since the forecast has it pretty rainy for Friday night/Saturday.
You have a great weekend too! Looks like your weather has been really nice for this time of year. :)
