Hurrah for a payday Friday!

I'm glad that I made good progress with the Individual project, and spent enough time at it, that I was able to get to the testing stage early...and I won't have to do any overtime this weekend, yay!

Thursday I drove to work so I could stay in the area and do a platelet donation that evening. It was miserably hot to walk to my car in the boonie lot, and my car was even more miserably hot...thank God my temperature was just below the cut-off for being counted as feverish. My iron was high enough, and I succeeded, yay!

It has been such a treat to have a deck at my new place. Considering how late I get home from work most night, poor Shado would have hardly had any chance to enjoy the outdoor enclosure at my old place. But with a deck, I can leave the cat door open all day while I'm gone, and he can go out whenever he wants. It's a treat to see him outside basking in the hammock sometimes when I get home.

Got my list of revisions for 'TFE' whittled down to just one pesky item over the week, which feels great.

Looking forward to the local art festival, getting out to see Monsters University, starting to prepare for my upcoming vacation, and NOT doing any overtime this weekend!
