The fresh-from-Washington Mt Rainier cherries as well as the Washington-made Chukar chocolate-covered cherries I got were a hit with my coworkers.
My garden did well with the weather and the care while I was gone. My black-eyed susan vines are finally growing, my purslane is going crazy, and my dahlia has buds on it!
It was a treat to have a cool night Saturday night, so that I could open the windows Sunday morning for the first time in a while.
Also a blessing to have an end to the heat wave that was going on when I got back home. Today will be hot, but then there might be below average temps for the rest of the week!
On Saturday, got out to get supplies for my big guest room project, and also got to see Pacific Rim, which was a lot of fun.
Got a craft project into the final stages, and also dove into some 'TFE' editing and got myself through the end of section 1. Looking forward to plugging away at things this week.
