Lots of goodies of late, big and small:
Had another treat with eclipse timing and 'TFE' writing over the weekend. Glad it crossed my mind that a) it might be six months later b) there might be a lunar eclipse in November of 1957...and there was!
On Wednesday morning published the monster batch into the production environment that my former boss spent months
Lost a glove on Wednesday morning...and on Thursday morning I found it lying in the middle of the bike path where I'd taken them off. Wow!
A beautiful almost-full setting moon to enjoy on my drive in to work Friday morning.
Fun with dates: Thursday brought me to 20 and 2/3rds years since meeting t'DoL, and Wednesday was my 15th service anniversary date, though it didn't get celebrated until Friday...
And the big event of the week was my 15th service anniversary celebration on Friday. I got up at 4:30 to heat up a pair of apple pies, and also brought in ice cream and SweeTango apples (since I'd brought some in a few weeks back, my coworkers now know what they are and descended on them like a horde of starving piranhas). Sarah brought in bagels, and my manager did pizza and veggies. So not only was there the treat of lots of good food, but I got a bouquet of carnations, an entire leftover pizza to bring home (and others to give away to other folks on my floor who have given us leftovers in the past months) and of course I can't forget my long-anticipated $100 gift certificate! And Bill showed up promptly at 11:30 and we didn't get him to leave until 1:30! Corey and Kyle dropped by briefly too, and Jodi's boss Karen came by for a little while. It was a really nice time.
