Just when I think things can't get worse at work, they do. But at least there have been some bright spots.
Last Friday brought a big treat. That was when we (belatedly) celebrated Sarin's 25th service anniversary. She and her husband made a ton of eggrolls and fried rice for lunch--it was fantastic! Can't beat her eggrolls, and that fried rice, homemade and authentic, was by far the best I've ever had.
Last week and now this week has been so utterly awful at work, that when I checked on tracking for a package and saw THIS I couldn't help but laugh. That describes my life right now PERFECTLY! (And at least my package did make a safe arrival.)
I am now so burned out, miserable, and depressed, that I can't get much of anything done during my short 75 minute evenings. So what a blessing to forget horrible life for a little bit and watch a couple episodes of 'Numbers' with my free Amazon Prime trial. Very nice!
I love the internet. I should post something every week on that theme! But in this case, it's the delight of getting on Bible Gateway during my Bible reading. They have the Orthodox Jewish Bible (English translation) on there, and I really love the perspective and 'flavor' it gives the Psalms with transliterations of many Hebrew nouns left in. The more that stick in my head, the better!
