So it was a week later than planned, but I got the first season of 'Continuum' out from the wonderful library and got to watch a bunch of episodes over the weekend. Quite a treat!
Saturday I got the deck cleared off, garden mostly packed away, cat enclosure down for the winter--and in good time too, as the first big snowstorm was scheduled to roll in Sunday night. Glad I got the window plastic I ordered from Amazon, since they're talking single-digit lows in a few days. Crazy!
Also quite pleased with the amount of progress I made with writing 'Embers Fade.' Hopefully past the halfway mark by now.
On Sunday afternoon I got out to see Interstellar, which was quite long, but quite amazing. Very glad I went, and next weekend I can go enjoy Big Hero 6. Wow, 2014 has been quite the year for wonderful movies!
Grateful for busing, even if it's REALLY slow busing. Traffic was so bad from the first snowstorm of winter that it took me nearly 90 minutes to get to work this morning--I was an entire hour later than my normal time! But at least I could spend most of that time reading, and at least I had a seat as well. Tonight's commute is going to be...interesting. Hopefully I'll have enough space that I can spend the hour(s) working on Geren book 1...
