A nice transition to February:
I pedaled a total of 187 miles on my exercise bike in January, whoot!
A bit of fun after church on Sunday. I stopped at Panera, as I didn't have a meal planned and I had $8.56 left on my gift card. After a bit of dithering about (they no longer have the butternut squash ravioli I really like) I decided to try out one of their new broth bowls. I figured the price would be close, but to the amazement of me and the person at the register, the total was exactly $8.56! And the Soba Noodle Bowl with Edamame, though it looked a little odd, made for a great meal as well.
Blessed to have made it to February with only one fall (way back in November), and no illness (though my swollen throat tells me that may be ending soon). Also a blessing to feel the days getting longer--there's actually sunlight out when I get on the bus going home now.
Did a good editing run through 'Unpaid Leave' this weekend, and a nice bit of progress with Geren book 1 revisions as well--completed the first of at least three additional scenes I plan to add to the story. Currently in the middle of chapter 4, which shouldn't be too hard to finish...and having fun negotiating with t'DoL over the overhaul at the beginning of chapter 5. (Archimedes' principle, haha!) I'm glad I wrote The Great Wave, once again!
