YES! My Radon test is DONE! I can open the windows again (not that I'm tempted in this heat) and best of all I can run the ceiling fan in my room again! Hurrah!
And let me take this moment to express my gratitude for air conditioning, one of the best things ever invented. If I could find the inventor, I'd kiss him. As it is, I'll try not to bring up the topic on every post for the next 3 months! ;)
Ugh. *twitches* Ugh, ugh, ugh. I would just go nuts having to do that. But that's because I handsewed a plushie soccer ball (football for you lot) for my brother in highschool, and by the time I got the 15th hexagon/pentagon sewed together I was fit to climb the walls. The utter mindless boredom of finishing that thing turned me off to handsewing forever. *twitches*
At least he still has it, as far as I know.
And I hope you surprise yourself and do get it done in time!
Sorry to hear you finally got whammed--good timing to get away, though!
I mailed it in this morning, their lab processes it and posts it on a webpage by serial number. So I won't know for some time.
I quite agree with that!
Yay for Radon tests being done! How long did it take?
On MyYahoo, I keep tabs on the temp/weather in my town, Nashville, Seattle, Rome, Athens, and London. Chillicothe, so far, has always been cooler only than Nashville. It irks me we're 20 degrees hotter than London and Seattle, and 10 degrees hotter than Athens and Rome.
Just a few more days until your nice cool trip! :D
Three days to run it, but I had to have my place shut up for 12 hours in advance of starting.
Ugh, not too surprising. The price for living so far from an ocean. My mom keeps mentioning how a certain sort of sea wind cools Sacramento off some of the evenings--and that's some 100 miles from the coast!
