Shado is still alive! Not only that, but he is doing very well. I took him to his regular vet on Wednesday. His blood work came back with clean results for his liver and thyroid, and the painkillers I got helped him a lot. He is pretty much back to his usual self and enjoying having me around nearly all the time. Very thankful that I get to enjoy a little more time with him.
Also grateful for the various oatmeal packets and other food items my wonderful mother sent home with me. I hadn't planned to come home 5 days early, I'm beyond broke, and I don't get paid until the 11th. But thanks to her generosity, I have enough food around to comfortably get me to payday, yay!
On Wednesday night I finally had my first good night of sleep in a while, and Thursday night was pretty good as well. Needed that, after all the uncertainly over Shado of late.
Always good to have reasons to laugh at oneself, right? I've been whaling away at my calendar project this week, making fabulous progress, and last night I finally figured out how to access the full potential of the strand-based dynamic hair features in Poser. I've only been using the software for 9 years, ha ha! I wish I'd known this two years ago for my 'On the Seashore' picture, but really-slow-on-the-uptake is still better than never! =)
