Aside from some trouble with him finding pills in his food, Shado is doing great. He was fine with my going back to my work routine last week, except when I was also gone for the evening. He had fun playing with the tape backing and plastic when I hung up insulating plastic in my living room on Saturday as well. So blessed he is doing so well!
Very happy to get my 2016 calendar illustration wrapped up Saturday morning. I'm very pleased with it, and it was nice to not have to fight with Vue so much as I did with my calendar illustrations the previous two years. This version of Vue likes to randomly delete files at times when I save and close, but thanks to engaging in massive paranoia over creating backup copies, I got through without any big setbacks. And my one setback when the file went corrupt ended up being good, since it made me rethink and improve a part I had been overlooking.
What a treat to get gas on Sunday for only $1.83!
The weekend was a very busy one between finishing my art project, exercise, helping out various people with computer/writing related things, and getting rolling with my final verbal review of my first Geren book. No time for "rest," but I'm very glad I was able to finish chapter 10 of DWoT, since the only time I'll be able to write for a while is on the weekends. Yay for progress!
