Work has been brutal, but there's always reason for gratitude:
Last weekend I was startled and delighted to find cookies in the mailbox from my wonderful aunt! She made them and sent them to me with a lovely note congratulating me on writing the first Triune novel. Really made my day--and they're delicious, too!
Delighted that I was able to upgrade my Microsoft Office from 2007 to 2013 on my home desktop for a good price thanks to eBay. It went wonderfully quick and I've been enjoying the features that I've gotten spoiled having on my netbook. Not only that, but my neat SmartEdit add-on also updated itself, while I was bracing for a messy upgrade process! (If only the work upgrade would be so nice, ha ha!)
Today is a special day indeed--5 years from the biggest accomplishment of my life, when I got through the finish line with the Geren novels. So grateful for the progress I've made in the last year and a half at polishing up...hopefully I'll be done with that before I hit the 10 year anniversary! Also delighted to have a beta reader for DWoT squared away for June, and some other promising resources I've found to get more.
