So grateful this week is going better than last week!
It felt a huge blessing to have work on Monday and Tuesday be a lot quieter than it was last week. I needed that.
Thanks to more buses running at more times on my route, I got permission from my boss to adjust my work hours for a standard lunch and earlier end time, starting next week. It will be very nice to get home sooner!
Had a great time with the Towners Tuesday evening. A wonderful meal, and also got to enjoy watching the birds and squirrels at their feeders. Can't forget the turtle cheesecake!
The Greek restaurant Christos is closing, so as a way to say goodbye, my team and the department supervisors and new administrator headed down on Wednesday to enjoy their fabulous lunch buffet one last delicious time. That was fun, and we got to walk back most of the way outside before it started raining again, too!
Thanks to my job being manageable again I have more time for the work that matters. Still not as far with 'DWoT' work as I would like, but also feeling a whole lot better about where I'm at thanks to some good progress made during the evenings Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday. Also very grateful that pass 3 of the second Geren book is coming along quite well, so I can deprioritize and spend weekends just on 'DWoT' work. That should help!
