The weather has been crazy warm for November, and quite sunny of late, so Saturday proved a wonderful morning for Cindy M and I to get out for a walk at Lebanon Hills regional park. We did a little over five miles and got to a few different lakes--it was her first time and she really enjoyed the park. Nice outing!
A treat as well to have an extra hour this weekend due to Daylight Savings ending. Saturday afternoon I got to see Hacksaw Ridge, which is by far the most gory movie I've ever seen, but I'm very glad I went. Amazing and inspiring. Can't forget--my points were high enough so I could get a free bag of popcorn and pay a dollar plus tax to upgrade to a bigger size. I quite enjoyed that during the pastoral sections of the movie.
My wonderful mother sent me a package with homemade apple bread, homemade pumpkin bread, and a bag of dates! So sweet! I will certainly be enjoying it over the next couple weeks.
I'm glad I found a company online that makes bedding in the color I want. I got a package in the mail with a fitted sheet, pillowcases, and best of all, a bedskirt in the length I need. Much nicer now, to have it hiding all the ugly moving boxes stacked under my daybed!
