On Thursday, Dawn brought me M&Ms from a promotion the company-affiliated credit union was doing. That hit the spot, as I've been quite missing having no sweets around.
Saturday morning, the weather was merciful and the rain held off. That meant I was able to bike 6.3 miles to the natural food store to get my homemade granola ingredients. They also have the white Mexican cheese, and they had frozen shelled edamame! That made my day because I can't get to Trader Joe's where I usually buy it. Had to get cookies too--biking 12 miles merits a treat, right?
Pleased with the progress I am making on my current art project, the 'friends and family' eBook cover for my third Geren book.
So there's the stereotype of "Minnesota Nice," but after watching The Most Canadian Way to Get Rid of Bears, I think some Canadians have us beat, hands down!
