Bob (all our repair guys seem to have that name) was in the state, so he stopped by 'my' side of the department for preventative maintenance today.
Which means I got to have Kathy do my label-sticking while she was unable to use her computer. That was a treat!
It's still very preliminary, but Bob might just have figured out what was causing the crashes two of my coworkers are having...it's only been causing him and the software people to beat their heads against the wall for a few months now... (I'm trying to not get too excited yet, as we thought we had beat it once before.)
I dropped by Greg's desk for the 509th time to use his 3-hole punch--and I was given one of my own! Hurrah! Hurrah! (Yes, this is big ;)
Got to savor a delicious update by Ruatha on FictionPress over my lunch. I am so enjoying that kids' story of hers.
It was wonderful to walk home with temps in the upper 70's (25 C), mostly cloudy, low humidity, and a brisk wind. Delicious!
Finished the final sealcoating on my Icarus sculpt and hung it up, then finally got myself past the basecoat level on my next sculpture painting project. Feels good to be moving ahead, and if I break it up into smaller chunks (and quit trying to be perfect) this won't be overwhelming at all...
It's the little things (like personal hole punchers) that make the world go 'round ^__^
Here's to hoping the glitch is cured - and huzzah for normal temperatures! That's about what we've got here when the sun bothers to stay out for longer than ten minutes.
Baby steps and all that. All to the good.
*just grins* I've been wanting one since I moved and it became more than a 5 foot trip to use Greg's. ;)
I can just imagine the huge groan from everybody today if one of those crashes happens and Bob's theory goes down in flames. Best to stick with a Llao mentality...
A few more 'baby steps' and I might actually be caught up with money stuff for a day or two and have more time for 'fun' stuff. ;P
