The good stuff:

So grateful for the Towner's kindness in loaning me their second minivan for a few weeks. This week was time to return it, with the threat of Jury Duty ended. It took three tries (perhaps due to the severe cold of late) but I was glad to finally find a car wash that was OPEN and return it to them clean early Wednesday morning.

Summer is my enemy, but I am enjoying slightly longer days now that it's about a month from the solstice. I got to see sunlight waiting for bus after a normal workday this week. That was very nice, to be out during daylight not just on a weekend!

Another work blessing. While looking into an issue reported by another area, I realized the solution for that was similar to another issue that I had not yet had the time to start researching. Fixed two at one time, thank you God!

The cold ended and now we're way above average again. But it at least got below freezing at night, so on Friday morning I got to enjoy some 'star sparkle frost' all over the paths on the walk to the bus stop. It reminded me of the frost last winter, and how that linked to 'Furthest Leap' in my imagination. Quite lovely!

All the snow melt of late made for a rather treacherous and icy walk for food shopping this morning. But I'm grateful that I got there and back with no slips or falls, and for the beautiful sunrise I got to enjoy on the way. It felt like thaw and early spring, with chickadees singing. But winter isn't over yet, for which I am quite glad.

Great timing on the warmer weather for the March for Life.
So great to hear about the work blessing.

Yes and no. There's a big snowstorm expected to start Monday, so that will probably be a bad day for travel. Some lucky people might get a foot, but most likely less in the metro.
