A pair of joys:
Delighted to finish writing the short story 'Relentless' on Monday evening, right at the end of my time off. It needs some editing, but I'm very happy to have it written.
Today is my first day back at work since the 8th, and it brought the annual All Company meeting. Doubly exciting, due to the rollout of the new company logo and colors (which are still under wraps publicly) and that brought drawings, candy, and gifts. But it also brought the announcement of the annual PSP (bonus) amount. I'm so grateful this year is much better than last year, and a wonderful number too--7.7%! (Half of that goes into the retirement plan, and what's left is heavily taxes, but it will still get me off to a very nice start for computer shopping, whoot!) Thank you, God!
(My list is getting long! 2005 - 8%, 2006 - 9%, 2007 - 8.5%, 2008 - 9.5%, 2009 - 5.5%, 2010 - 5.5%, 2011 - 7.5%, 2012 - 9%, 2013 - 10%, 2014 - 9%, 2015 - 9%, 2016 - 6.5%, 2017 - 4.7%)
