The major storm forecasted for the weekend actually exceeded expectations. Broke the 1983 record for biggest April storm (got 15-17 inches in my area) and also the record for snowiest April, and apparently coldest high temperature on Saturday, along with 12th biggest snowstorm recorded, and the first blizzard that covered the entire Twin Cities since 1983. After a dry start to the winter, we're now up to 8th snowiest, ha ha! It was definitely a memorable weekend, and to my great amusement, my church closed!
Now that I'm in transition to a new email address, I can buy stuff online again--in this case, four songs that have blessed me lately. One I heard during movie credits, one I rediscovered on Easter at the Towners as a blast from the past, one I heard at church, and the last on the radio Saturday which was instant love. So blessed by all of them!
After a fair few cancellations or reschedules, I finally got together with my former boss for lunch. It was great to catch up--and talk about the weather. Everybody's talking about the weather!
