A fun little bundle...
Still in the process of moving things back into my room, I went through my art supplies bin and purged a grocery-bag's worth of stuff. That felt good!
And yes, I'm a horrible softy and loaned the landlady a bundle of money again--but this time I got a discount on my rent! I'm having so much fun dreaming what to do with it... (and called my mom so she could yell at me before finding out about it in this post ;)
My fellow administrator Greg bungled things yesterday, so I got to 'chew him out' this morning--the spectacle of which got a few coworkers to drift over just to watch. Ah, that was fun (for Greg too, as I don't get mad at coworkers).
Took a short class at work this morning and mightily enjoyed the teacher that led the second portion--his personality is so much like Copper's. Except I can't imagine Copper being a good teacher, or a computer geek, for that matter!
It was 95 F/35 C at 3 pm this afternoon, and I was dreading what the walk home would do to me--and then some powerful storms burst out of nowhere ahead of the incoming front and sent rain down so heavy we could hardly see across the street for a bit. Which meant I had 85/29 and cloudy for my walk home, with the hot, wet roads steaming so beautifully...and only a little water in my closet, thank God, for I'd been fearing worse!
Last but not least--a treat in my mailbox! A time-traveling package that Shanra mailed me on April 5 and finally arrived, battered but still intact. Thanks, me dear!
Actually, no, since I left a note on his desk the previous night. He was probably wracking his brains trying to figure out where he goofed up.
As for what he did, a lot of chuckling and 'I'm guilty' and then tried to blame it on Jodi and Nancy. We will probably give Jodi an earful on Monday (she was off Wed-Fri).
